Change is closer than you think!
You’ve tried everything to fix that bad back, sore hip, knee or shoulder, but nothing seems to work - at least not for long. You’re starting to believe that your pain is something you just have to live with.
I know what it feels like to have chronic pain, how discouraging it is to have to limit my activities because of an old injury that just won’t go away, how frustrating it is when what used to work doesn’t anymore.
I also know how it feels to get lasting relief from pain, to be able to get back to doing the things I love.
What would it feel like to actually enjoy being in your body? Change is possible.
It's never too late to learn how to listen to your body in a new way, to work with your nervous system and your connective tissue, to feel less pain, to create more ease, mobility and strength.
Whether the focus is on strength, core stability, back health, hip or knee pain, we start by working with the nervous system.
Instead of teaching a right or wrong way of doing an exercise, I invite you to listen to your body and be curious about the choices you can make to fine-tune each movement according to what you’re hearing, so you can achieve your fitness goals in the way that is most effective for you.
These are a great option if you've already developed the skill of listening to your body, and feel confident about making choices around the variables and suggestions I offer.
Four live classes per week and access to hundreds of recorded classes offers you both accountability and variety!

Reach out and let's talk about your goals, your challenges, and ways I can help. Zero pressure, I promise!

Every week, I learn something new. It could be about the nervous system or maybe it’s helping me recognize old patterns of movement that require tweaking. All the seemingly small things you so diligently integrate into your classes have made a tremendous difference in how I feel and have encouraged me to live my senior years with a more positive attitude about aging. You can’t stop getting older but you sure can help yourself to do it better."
Due to her wide range of training, her thorough knowledge of anatomy and her ability to see the body as a whole she has the power to perform little miracles.
I had a nagging pain in my right thigh, shooting down the leg, every time I laid myself down to sleep. With her gift to pay attention to detail, she created an exercise program on the spot. It was a series of gentle movements, light as a whisper.
After only one session I was able to fall asleep and stay asleep with no pain whatsoever all through the night.
It always amazes me how she finds the best exercises that give results right away.
I am thankful that I have Joanne to smooth the path of recovery from the concussion. Her knowledge, empathy and compassion is greatly appreciated."
She is a wonderful teacher who is both knowledgeable and inspiring despite the challenge of teaching remotely.
Joanne always provides plenty of options to allow us to adapt each exercise to our particular abilities which has really helped me with my mobility and balance issues.
Thank you so much Joanne for helping me to keep motivated and fit."
